Event Posters

  1. I like how the navy rectangle matches the color of his shirt, it adds some nice consistency between the artist and the poster. The only thing I would do is make the Evergreens logo a little bigger, it feels like it's hiding in the corner and maybe that was intentional so you didn't outshine the artist but I think it could take up some more of that lower left quadrant.

  2. The visual hierarchy is used really well within the poster. It draws the eye to the most important sections of the poster. The color scheme goes nicely with the figure, but it doesn't catch my eye too much.I would experiment a little more with the typeface! Go out of the box a little more to make it more fun.

  3. The placement of the images and the type face is perfect and they all play very well together! The only thing I would suggest is changing the color of the background to something that relates to artists style. Other than that great job!

  4. I love the organization of this. You follow rule of thirds in your placement which guides the viewer to the necessary info and the picture. I also like that the navy block breaks up the background. One thing you may wanna fix though is the photoshop of the picture. Righ now his lips look a little wonky because there's a dark area around it.

  5. I really like this color scheme and I love the use of the profile photo! I might shift the box of text where it says "Live on the Quad" so it fits a little more around the picture and the logo, but other than that really good work.

  6. I can't wait to see Kygo "Live on the Quad"... I like how you placed the image off to the side and how the blue bar matches his blue shirt. However, I think you could play around with the rest of the colors as well as the typefaces to make it really stand out.

  7. I love the elements you chose, including the profile image of Kygo and the stripe and title font. I do notice there's a bit of empty space, and maybe making the images larger would help that? Good work so far!

  8. I like the organization of this poster, but the color scheme is a little bland. Otherwise, the poster is very informative.

  9. I like the layout of the poster, but I think you could play around with the background color. Maybe something a little brighter that catches the viewer's attention
